Mrs Collins our Manaiakalani Support teacher took the students on a Digital journey. They were to track their footprints over a space of 24 hours. All the websites they visited and how often they went to those site. It was very interesting for the students to see exactly how much time they spend on a particular website and perhaps some of them thought about if those sites were worth spending that much time on. This year in particular where home learning was a new phrase to get used to, working from home and connecting with others in a digital world is the norm it is important to track where you are going, how often and if it is safe to be there.
We are Year 7 and 8 learners at Ruapotaka School Auckland, New Zealand and our teacher is Mrs Cardoza

Y7 and 8 Volleyball
Term 2 the year 7 and 8 students are doing Volleyball. They are learning their ball skills which include setting, serving, spiking, digging and passing. They have really enjoyed learning these new skills and practicing with their peers. Some students did get a little competitive but whats wrong with a little competition, as long as we can be gracious losers when we need to. Because the students were doing so well in their lessons, the faculty decided to have a teachers vs student match!!!
